Art

Welcome to Art at Randlay!

At Randlay Primary School and Nursery, we value Art and Design as an important part of the children’s entitlement to a broad and balanced curriculum. Our Art curriculum encapsulates our school’s value of creativity. We aim to challenge, engage and inspire our learners equipping them with the knowledge and skills to experiment, invent and create their own works of art, craft and design.

The Queen's Jubilee

The children at Randlay are working together as one to create a whole school piece of art to commemorate the Queen's Jubilee! Each base has a different skill and artist to look at in order to design and create a butterfly!

Telford and Wrekin - Ocean Fish Project

We joined the Telford and Wrekin Ocean Fish Project which aims to draw attention to the plastic pollution in our oceans.

Before we painted our final fish, we ran a competition across the school to help us choose a design for our fish. We used the same template across the school and used the skill of painting to design our own creative, imaginative pieces.

Here are some examples of our wonderful children creating their fish...

Presentation Day

We were invited to attend a presentation for the Ocean Fish Competition. We were able to see all of the amazing entries on display in Telford’s Town Park including our own entry!
