Yr5 and Yr6 Boys Football – 30th November 2025

A team of Yr5 and Yr6 boys took part in a football tournament where they played brilliantly against three other teams, showing great skill and teamwork throughout each game. Their determination and effort on the pitch were clear, as they supported one another and worked hard together.

After a strong performance in these matches, the team is now looking forward to their next challenge, where they will face St Luke’s Primary School.’

Harvest Time in Year 3/4!

Harvest Time in Year 3/4!
In the spirit of harvest season, our Year 3/4 class celebrated by harvesting the pumpkins and potatoes we planted last year in our allotment space
We then learned how to prepare them (with a few extra tasty ingredients!) to make a delicious pumpkin soup. The whole classroom was filled with amazing smells as it simmered away in the slow cooker.
Everyone was incredible at trying something new and it was such a joy to taste food we had grown ourselves. From seed to soup — what a wonderful way to celebrate the harvest and all our hard work!

Celebrating Amelia – Winner of the Telford Flag Competition!

Celebrating Amelia – Winner of the Telford Flag Competition!

We are thrilled to share some wonderful news with our school community. Amelia, has been announced as the winner of the Telford Flag Competition!

The competition, which launched back in June, invited designs from pupils across the Borough. After a two-week public vote with more than 4,000 votes cast, Amelia’s thoughtful and creative design received the most support.

Her flag will be raised at Southwater Square as part of the Telford Day celebrations on Saturday 29 November — an incredible achievement and a moment she should feel very proud of.

Councillor Lee Carter, Leader of Telford & Wrekin Council, praised Amelia’s design, noting the way it celebrates Telford’s heritage by featuring the Ironbridge, a cog, and the colour green to represent our parks and open spaces.

Amelia said:
“I’m really happy I’ve won the flag competition… I am excited to see my flag flying. Thank you to everyone who voted.”

Her mum, Jayne, added:
“We are incredibly proud of Amelia… Her design was creative and thoughtful and reflected Telford so well.”

We are delighted to share that the school will also receive £250 worth of arts and crafts supplies, kindly donated by the competition’s media partner, Telford Live.

A huge congratulations to Amelia for her fantastic achievement — we are all so proud of you!
