Anti Bullying Week- Odd Socks Day

Base 6 have all worn odd socks today to highlight the importance of kindness and developing their understanding of bullying. We have also looked into examples of respect and how we can show respect around school.

The Gunpowder Plot

Over the past two weeks, Base 6 have been learning about the Gunpowder plot. They also looked at the plot from Will Danby’s perspective and explored his feelings through a diary entry.

Learning the Blues

In Base 6, we have been learning to play Blues music and playing in partners to show collaboration skills.

STEM day

The children in Base 6 had a fantastic afternoon participating in a Space theme STEM activity. They worked well in teams to complete the tasks.

Maya workshop

Back in September, Base 6 enjoyed a Maya workshop with Dr Diane (A Maya Archaeologist) and were fascinated by what they found out and the artefacts they were able to explore!
