Week Eleven
Each week, you will aim to complete the online activities which are set out in the timetable below.
You are all working so hard and we are keen to see how you are all getting on. To do this, we will look at your activities on Spellzone, Bug Club and My Maths. We will also look at some of the other work, a piece of writing and a creative task. To do this we will use:

See document below. | English Watch the Oak Academy lesson 3. 'The Eagle Who Thought He Was A Chicken'.
In this lesson we will explore the problem in our story, which is when Brother Eaglet begins to realise he is not a chicken. Maths Challenge 2.
See document below. | English Discover the incredibly enormous egg in the lair. Where has it come from? What do you think is inside? Do you think it’s ready to hatch yet? How do you think we should we look after and care for it?
Complete as a verbal I wonder. For example: I wonder if there’s a living creature inside. I wonder where it has come from. I wonder how we should look after it. I wonder if it’s warm enough. Maths Challenge 3.

Read the story 'Tell me a dragon' by Jackie Morris. Create your own dragon egg you can draw or create a 3D model. Tell me about your dragon egg. What kind of dragon is it? What is it made of? What size is your dragon and it’s features? What colour are his eyes/scales/wings? What does it eat/drink? Where is your dragon is usually found?

In this lesson, will be learning about what diets different animals follow. We will be identifying what different animals may eat based on the appearance of their teeth, some flat, some sharp. |
