On Friday 27th May, the whole school celebrated the Queen's Platinum Jubilee by holding a a 50’s style themed fete where each class had the opportunity to visit stalls, such as, a hook a duck, a tin can alley, Pin the tail on the corgi and a cake stall. There was a penalty shootout with the Queen as the goalie, musical thrones and an obstacles race involving jewel and spoon, Royal Landmark Hurdles and wearing a crown. It was a brilliant morning and was followed by a lunch outside on the playground. During our lunch, we waved our flags, sang 'God Save the Queen' and listened to the Year 4 children singing other songs in preparation for their concert on 4th June in Southwater.
